Thomson Financial has released Thomson ONE Analytics, an upgraded and rebranded version of First Call Analyst, the company's Web-based research and analytical application for institutional investment managers.
Suresh Kavan, president of Thomson Financial's investment management group says the new platform has been re-engineered to interoperate with other Thomson ONE components relevant to institutional investors, such as Thomson ONE Equity. "This approach, which reflects Thomson’s overall convergence strategy, is a direct result of feedback from clients," he says.
The Web-based platform provides integrated access to the premier content of Thomson brands such as First Call, Datastream, I/B/E/S, Worldscope and more, plus content from third parties and users’ own firms. The package also features a new communications framework, dubbed Thomson Connect, which clients can use to exchange electronic business cards and data in multiple file types, including RIXML.
