Thomson Financial has appointed Debra Walton as global managing director of investment banking within its banking and brokerage group.
Walton was prevously partner and managing director at Cantor Fitzgerald where she was responsible for global marketing and business development.
Prior to this she was vice president of international product marketing at Dow Jones Telerate.
A core focus of Walton's new role will be the launch and growth of investment banking desktop solution Thomson One Banker.
She will report to president, banking and brokerage, Thomson Financial, Lou Eccleston.
