The Dutch bank is already using Mint Knowledge software to provide financial messaging capabilities across its equities, fixed income and futures operations.

The London-based asset management division is now adopting Mint Swift and Mint Omgeo application software to replace its current, substantially manual, post-trade processing environment. Using Mint Knowledge Master as a trade process management engine, the middle office solution will feature a browser-based control module that will provide transaction status reporting and monitoring, together with enquiry and automation exception handling, linked to an integrated operational database.

SunGard’s Mint Swift gateway recently completely certification testing for the SwiftNet FIN service. ABN Amro says it will use the solution to support its migration from the current Swift X.25 environment.
