Mercator says the software - developed using its Integration Broker and Business Metadata Repository (BMR) technologies - will help achieve objectives for automated standards convergence and minimise the impact of future standards updates.

Visitors to the vendor's booth at the Swift international banking and operations in seminar in Geneva next week will be able to view a demonstration of the solution applied to investment fund messages.

Mercator says the application will be equally applicable to other business areas such as the forthcoming convergence of Swift and FIX message rules into a single format.
