Mercator Software has introduced a new range of products for Web services, Java Connector Architecture and financial services.
Mercator's Web services integration package allows customers access to both application information and services via the Internet without the need to alter existing applications and IT infrastructure and enables customers to provide services via the Internet or corporate intranet. French bank CDC is the first financial services organisation to deploy the Mercator Web services solution.
The Java Connector Architecture Gateway allows customers to integrate an unlimited number of applications and technology resources using JCA-compliant adapters created by third-party vendors. In conjunction with the rollout, Mercator is launching a new Java Connector Architecture certification programme to ensure adapter vendors are interoperable with the JCA Gateway.
The vendor's financial services package provides upgraded support for Swift standards, including its global securities solution. New security features include enhancements for authentication and user account management. Other features of the new Mercator GSS for GSTPA v2.0 include new data inheritance functionality and improved auditing capabilities.
