NCR says that its Interactive Teller technology enables Boubyan to deliver 95% of the services available at traditional branches. The system lets people talk, over video, to live teller, who can also take remote control of the machine to conduct transactions, such as cash deposits.

Boubyan says that NCR Interactive teller technology is letting it set up shop at sites that cannot justify full branches as well as offer expanded hours - the new location will be open from 8am to 2am, seven days a week.

Fahd Al-Fawzan, GM, sales and distribution channels, Boubyan Bank, says that there are plans to "roll out more NCR Interactive Teller Machines throughout other prime locations in the country based on our customers’ feedback with whom we are continually in touch through social media".
