'Video Branch' is a free service that provides all customers with HD-quality video interactions with a branch manager, relationship manager or with a centralised Video Branch executive. The mobile and desktop-based banking service currently provides all services available over the bank's telephone channel as well as account opening and funds transfer operations. Video Branch is currently available for Android (2.3 and higher) and Apple mobile devices (iOS 6,7, and higher) in the respective App Stores. The bank is using technology from New Jersey-based Vidyo as the backbone of the Video Branch concept. Romesh Sobti, Managing Director and CEO of IndusInd Bank, says: "VidyoWorks is the only solution that could deliver on the promise of high quality connectivity from any location, on any device over any network and we are pleased to offer this very high-quality, easy to use service to our customers."
