FöreningsSparbanken (Swedbank) is rolling out IPC Information Systems' voice-over-IP (VoIP) IQMX trading turrets and network services across its locations in Sweden and its offices in London.
Swedbank will deploy IPC's products and services at 20 trading centres across Sweden, as well as in London.
In addition to desktops and connectivity services, IPC will provide the bank with 24x7 alarm monitoring, as well as management of trader voice circuit inventory.
Olev Trygg, SVP, operations at Swedbank, says the IPC systems were selected following a 14 month evaluation: "Not only does IQMX deliver immediate benefits, such as richer, more interactive applications to traders, but also IPC's VoIP capability is fully aligned to our future thinking and requirements."
