UniCredit Banca Mobiliare (UBM) has installed 160 IQMX trading desktops and 20 ICM Intercom modules from IPC Information Systems at its headquarters in Milan.
Carlo Germani, project and implementation manager at UBM, says the implenetation went smoothly and the technology delivers enhanced productivity to its traders.
He adds: "The inherent flexibility of voice over IP gives us more options for reliable business continuity planning."
IPC says its native-Internet Protocol (IP) voice trading systems are capable of delivering voice, data and video through a single path to the trading desktop.
