US Bank has installed Diebold's newly-launched ATM Opteva at its Columbia Centre facility in Portland, Oregon.
US Bank deployed a prepackaged solution from Diebold to integrate the Opteva machine with ACI's Base24, its existing transaction processing platform.
The Opteva units include Universal Serial Bus (USB) 2.0 open architecture and utilise Diebold's multi-vendor software Agilis - enabling the bank to integrate the new machines into its existing ATM network running on the same software.
In addition, the cash machines have rear operator liquid crystal display (LCD) with video capability, a full keyboard and an easy-to-use maintenance interface.
Dominic Venturo, senior vice president, product management and strategy, transaction services, US Bank, says: "The Opteva 760 has been live for a couple of weeks now and we have been pleased with the performance, ease of use, and serviceability features."
Diebold says its new Opteva range enables firms to deliver transaction sets that customers value today as well as positioning them for the migration to enhanced features, such as cheque imaging and deposit automation.
