Diebold is to connect to Gilat's Connexstar satellite broadband system to support ticket ordering, video and multimedia content delivery and Internet access at cash machines across the US.
Diebold says it will offer high-speed satellite delivery in place of dial-up and frame-relay connections for ATM applications where economical broadband connectivity is required as part of the overall solution.
