UK-based ATM software vendor Level Four Software has joined Diebold's Partner Information Xchange (Pix) programme.
Diebold says Level Four will bring expertise in test and development tools for ATMs, particularly in preparation for EMV compliance, to its information exchange. PIX seeks to improve communication between Diebold and other financial industry providers to ensure easier implementation of new products.
Barry Harrison, VP, Diebold Emea services, adds: "We believe they (Level Four) will play an important role in the education of customers about the problems associated with the introduction of EMV smart cards, and provide a proven solution to assist in EMV migration projects."
As part of the programme, Diebold will provide ATM hardware for Level Four's EMV migration workshop, enabling off-site customer testing at its offices in Scotland.
Level Four says it also maintains switch partnerships with ACI Worldwide and Alaric Systems.
