Misys Wholesale Banking Systems has signed one of its largest banking software contracts in Asia, with Bank of India.
Under the agreement, Bank of India will deploy Misys' thin-client Web-based MidasPlus package across an initial seven sites running on a single global hub, to be based in Singapore.
The contract is understood to have an initial value of $4 million.
MidasPlus uses the IBM WebSphere platform and Java J2EE to provide a browser-based interface and offers advanced features for global processing, running multiple branches from a single code base and with consolidated information for global MIS and control.
