The bank will use Postilion EFT to drive its cash machines and to upgrade units to EMV standards.

Sue Evans, head of information systems and technology at the bank, says: "When it came to making a decision for a replacement ATM switch, we chose Postilion because it is a flexible system that meets our requirements now and in the future."

The technology will also be used to roll out advanced ATM services, such as wire transfers, cheque cashing, money orders, mobile phone top-ups, bill payment, and e-commerce shopping.

Mosaic Software will provide the bank with implementation and support services from its new office in Dubai, in partnership with local partner STS.

The project is due to be completed by June 2005.
