National Bank of Dubai is rolling out an upgraded version of Oracle's e-business suite and a new human resources management system (HRMS) across its operations.
Under the agreement, the bank has upgraded its financial modules to the latest version of the Oracle e-business suite. Among other new functions, the upgrade will enable up-to-the-minute financial reporting throughout the bank.
Oracle's HRMS solution offers payroll and self-service functionalities to over 1100 bank employees, reducing processing time and costs, says the company. Managers and employees can access and manage information and transactions over the Internet.
Douglas Dowie, general manager for the National Bank of Dubai, says: "The upgraded financial modules and new human resources applications will allow us to significantly reduce administrative procedures, which we believe will lead to a healthier bottom line as well as more time to develop new products and services."
