US card issuer Providian Financial has implemented technology from TSYS to deliver both Verfied by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode online authentication services to its 10 million customers.
The Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode services authenticate online purchases by prompting cardholders to enter a password before the transaction is approved.
The online services are delivered by TSYS and powered by Cyota's SecureSuite product.
