Direct access broker MidasTrade has contracted with Hyperfeed Technologies for the supply of managed real time exchange information, fundamental data and Island ECN data, for distribution to its Korean customers.
HyperFeed is creating a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to deliver the content in a multicast format for redistribution over MidasTrade's Global Direct Access Network (GDAN). MidasTrade's Korean customers will then view the data via its TradePro suite of applications.
Brad Eckenweiler, Chairman, MidasTrade, says Hyperfeed was chosen due to the reliability of its exchange information: "If there is a split or correction, we know that the data cleansing and control room components of HyperFeed's Meps (Managed Exchange Platform Services) will ensure that our customers will get this data as soon as it is available."
MidasTrade is the first company to provide a direct link between Korean investors and the US securities market.
