FutureTrade signs with HyperFeed for hosted data services

California-based FutureTrade, a provider of electronic trading tools and services to institutional traders, has contracted with HyperFeed Technologies for the supply of real time exchange data, news and information on an ASP basis.

HyperFeed will be hosting content for FutureTrade's trading system via its Managed Exchange Platform Services (MEPS). Users of the FutureTrade system will receive managed, cleansed and fully-permissioned information directly from exchanges.

The contract includes HyperFeed's online data management system Neosphere, zero loss compaction (ZLC) data processing technology and Java software development kit (SDK).

Jim Kwiatkowski, executive vice president of sales, FutureTrade, says: "It is essential for our clients to have integrated access to the highest quality market data so that they can make informed investment and trading decisions in today's fragmented and volatile markets."

HyperFeed says the deal provides FutureTrade with all the benefits of a proprietary ticker plant without any of the distractions or costs associated with operating one.
