Bank of China has selected the Teradata data warehouse and customer relationship management (CRM) solutions to establish a new generation of profit-oriented bank-card sales and customer-service systems.
With more than 47 million cards in issue, Bank of China has developed the largest customer base and merchant network in the domestic bank-card market in mainland China with the issuance of the Great Wall credit card, Great Wall debit card and Great Wall International card.
According to a bank official, the Teradata technology will be applied to create unified service standards, improving customer service, increasing profit and raising the brand awareness of the Bank of China bank cards.
