Diebold has signed an $8.5 million ATM order with Bank of Communications in China.
Bank of Communications has already deployed more than 140 newly purchased Diebold ix Series ATMs within its national self-service network.
The bank has additionally purchased 130 of Diebold's bulk cash recycling machines, capable of accepting deposits and recycling notes to ATM users making withdrawals. Additional features of the small-footprint Windows/XFS terminals include account inquiries, funds transfer, full-motion video advertising and bill payment.
