Thomson Financial adds Beta back office data to One Advisor

Thomson Financial has added integrated back office client and account data from Beta Systems to its retail and wealth management product, Thomson One Advisor.

Thomson says the latest version of the Advisor One provides for the complete integration of back office data including demographic information, account positions and security-level details, allowing users to customise data processing.

In addition, the portfolio manager module from the pacakage has been expanded to include more analytical tools and allow users to enter and track client holdings on the tax lot level. The financial planning application now has fixed-rate analysis and new functions to override default asset classifications and create user-defined securities.

William O'Conor, managing director, banking and brokerage, Thomson Financial, says the system accommodates virtually every aspect of an advisor's day-to-day tasks, including managing a client's portfolio, creating goal-based financial plans and streamlining client-serving activities.
