Under the agreements with CCB, Diebold will introduce its new 3030 Bulk Cash Recycler Model (BCRM), along with cash dispensers and advanced function automated teller machines (ATMs) for CCB branches in more than 20 provinces nationwide.

The introduction of 20 Diebold 3030 BCRMs serves as a pilot programme at CCB, Shanghai branch. All of the terminals will be installed in high volume locations throughout the city in a bid to provide enhanced service to CCB's Dragon Card holders who want to pay their housing loans or process stock transactions using the self-service terminals. The 3030 BCRM offers the capacity to accept bulk quantities of bank notes for one deposit transaction and credit the customer account immediately.

After this initial installation, another 20 branches will come to Shanghai for a site inspection and to evaluate this operational model for future use.
