The exchange has purchased IR's Prognosis Advanced Systems Manager for its real-time server and application management capabilities, Availability Manager for its application availability monitoring and availability reporting features, and Application Development Interface to provide a consolidated interface for extracting and managing key performance and status information.

"Prognosis allows us to easily manage and monitor our complex applications by isolating, diagnosing, and resolving problems from a single, unified console," says Toshinobu Shiiki, VP, system operation, Nasdaq Japan. "Its in-depth availability reporting and analysis capabilities provide us with the information we need to eliminate recurring points of failure, and to optimise our application availability."
