Privately-held Callidus Software has entered a worldwide agreement with IBM to deliver channel distribution and incentive management solutions to financial services companies.

IBM adds Callidus Software to bank CRM portfolio

Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will jointly market and sell Callidus Software's TrueComp and TrueChannel applications as part of IBM's CRM solution in Financial Services - running on the eServer pSeries hardware platform on AIX, DB2 Universal Database.

Mark Greene, general manager of global banking for IBM, says: "IBM's relationship with Callidus Software provides financial institutions with an effective way to deploy more products and more efficiency through more channels by broadly aligning the entire organisation through effective pay-for-performance incentives."

Callidus financial sector customers include Chase Bank, Credit Suisse Group, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Reed Taussig, president and chief executive officer, Callidus Software, comments: "Our relationship with IBM will further our leadership position in the financial services market."
