Reuters has appointed Robert Jeanbart and Marc Duale as managing directors of the company's UK/Ireland and Asia operations, respectively. Both men will report to Philip Green, Reuters chief operating officer.
Jeanbart is to head up the firm's business in the UK and Ireland. He joined the company in 1987 and was most recently managing director, applications and enterprise solutions, responsible for Reuters' global risk management and enterprise applications business. He has also held position as managing director, Reuters risk management systems.
Duale will be responsible for Reuters business throughout Asia as well as Australia and New Zealand and will take up his position in January 2002. He previously was chief operating officer for the Asia Pacific Middle East region at DHL Worldwide Express. He has also worked for American Express and The Boston Consulting Group.
