Reuters has appointed former Bank of England chief dealer Jim Trott to look after its global and strategic participation in the foreign exchange and money markets.
Trott joins Reuters after a 32-year stint at the BoE, where he worked in a variety of roles, including chief dealer from 1990 - 2001. During his time with the bank, Trott spent periods working at the Kenyan Central Bank in Nairobi, the Bank of Thailand in Bangkok and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
