The new fleet consists of six vehicles operating from Lerwick on Shetland, Portree on Skye, Brodick on Arran, Gairloch, Oban and Perth. Together they service the needs of customers within 118 communities and eight islands.

Nigel Bascombe, head of retail network development, at Bank of Scotland, says: "It is important that we provide access to banking services for our customers even in the most rural of locations. As such, our branch network is continually evolving to meet the needs of our customers, and the new vehicles are a prime example of this strategy."
