IndusInd Bank, one of the largest new private banks in India, is to implement Dublin-based CR2 Group's BankWorld product for multi-channel banking.
The bank will use BankWorld for the secure delivery of wealth management services to its customers over a variety of customer touch-points. The product will also upgrade the bank's online banking offering, Net.Bank, launched in 1997, from an information only service to transactional status.
In addition, IndusInd will implement CR2's Web-based foreign exchange trading module to enable online foreign exchange management.
Bhaskar Ghose, managing director, IndusInd Bank says the bank recognised a need for a strong channel management infrastructure. "BankWorld's relationship banking facilities and its powerful transaction design wizards will enable us to rapidly develop and deliver valued added products and personalised services," he says.
