Bank-backed payment consortium Interpay Nederland has upgraded its card processing system with CR2's CardWorld Visa Acquiring Module.
The Dutch group's settlement and processing of single and multi-currency merchant credit card payments is currently performed by CR2's CardWorld Acquirer products. The software manages the authorisation, routing, capture and settlement of transactions from Interpay's Merchant system.
The addition of CR2's Visa Acquiring Module will automate the third party settlements process, thereby improving the speed and efficiency of the clearing and settlement processing between merchants and international card organisations, says Rob Fopma, general manager, credit card services at Interpay.
He states: "By automating and simplifying the channel between merchants, banks and ancillary card organisations, CR2's CardWorld Acquirer closes the gap between the time of card purchase and funds reconciliation."
