Citi has hired former Motorola executive Christy Wyatt to head up its global consumer e-business and mobile technology operations.
Joining the global consumer technology group in August, Wyatt will take on responsibility for Citi's consumer banking businesses' Internet, mobile and ATM channels.
Wyatt joins from Motorola, where she most recently served as SVP and general manager for Motorola Mobility's enterprise business unit. She has also worked at Apple, Palm and Sun Microsystems.
Mark Torkos, CIO, global consumer banking, Citi, says: "Christy's 16 years of experience in the mobile technology industry and her client focus will be invaluable at Citi as we work to create the world's premier digital bank with the best customer experience across all channels and products."
Wyatt replaces former Samsung executive Omar Khan who recently quit the bank to join Chinese security outfit NQ Mobile.
