An impressive list of board directors, chief financial officers and payments heads from Europe's leading banks have confirmed their participation in the conference programme for the sixth annual EBAday, taking place this year in Madrid on 15 and 16 June.

Soledad Núñez, general director of the treasury and financial policy at the Spanish treasury, will kick off two days of intense debate, featuring panel discussion, strategic roundtables and break-out sessions addressing the big issues facing the European payments industry.

The Finextra team will be on hand to track events as they unfold at the IFEMA North Convention & Congress Centre, Madrid. For EBAday 2011, Finextra has launched EBAday online, a special-purpose financial technology news site designed to keep programme participants up-to-speed with news, views and live video relay direct from the exhibition and conference floor.
