Finextra is to host a special panel at this year's Sibos examining the use of social media in a B2B business environment, with participation from Citi, ING, SEB and SunGard.
The conference session will take place on Wendesday 27 October at the RAI in Amsterdam and will be simultaneously broadcast live over the Web via Finextra.
Finextra has partnered with Swift and Cognito Analytics to gather a panel of leading industry experts to discuss the potential impact of social media tools and Web 2.0 technologies in the corporate/transactional and investment banking spheres.
Speakers include:
- Leslie Klein, head of GTS Marketing, Citi
- Kees Moens, senior communications manager, Internet, ING
- Alyssa Gilmore, head of analyst relations, SunGard
- Hakan Aldrin, managing director for The Benche, SEB
- Elizabeth Lumley, special projects editor, Finextra (moderator)
The session will look behind the customer curtain to explore how banks are using the new tools of engagement to create a meaningful dialogue with their institutional customers, with a practical focus on bottomline issues such as compliance, resource allocation, metrics and the measurement of ROI.
In a first for Sibos, the session will also be simicast live as a Finextra Webcast, with Internet viewers encouraged to join the debate and put their questions to the panel over Twitter.
