Under the agreement, CSC has exclusive rights to resell Ohio-based e-Bank's software and provide systems integration support to CSC's client base. Initially, CSC will offer the e-Bank solution integrated with the Hogan system for banks. The company will then develop interfaces between the e-Bank solution and CSC's other financial services back-office applications.

The e-Bank solution integrates the bank's customer interactions with real-time enterprise-wide information across all channels - branch, ATM, call centre, integrated voice response (IVR) and Web bank. Clients receive universally accessible, comprehensive customer profiles that incorporate extensive transaction and contact history, connecting all contact points under one virtual channel.

Paul Jameson, e-Bank president and CEO, says new customer acquisitions are often off-set by defections because of inadequate customer service. "To retain customers, banks and insurers must meet the changing demands of a multi-product, multi-channel, 24x7 customer base," he says.
