Denmark's SDC Udvikling, a provider of technology to banks in the Nordic region, is implementing TietoEnator's SwiftNet connectivity platform, ProSwitch.
TietoEnator says its ProSwitch technology will replace SDC's current Merva and WBIFN systems which are supplied by IBM and will be used to manage all SwiftNet messaging processes.
The first phase of the implementation will see SDC business applications connected to ProSwitch for central routing, distribution and archiving of Swift messages. The system will then be connected to the SwiftNet FIN and FileAct services via the SwiftAlliance Gateway.
TietoEnator says software components from its partner Synergy will be fully integrated with ProSwitch for manual message entry and message transformation services.
Jon Alvar Øyasæter, SVP, payment solutions, TietoEnator, says SDC is the third Nordic service bureau to select ProSwitch for Swift messaging.
"In total, we estimate that more than 70% of all Swift messages in the Nordic region are processed by ProSwitch," he adds.
