NCR wins $7.5m Banco de Credito del Peru contract

US ATM manufacturer NCR has won a contract worth $7.5 million to supply its Personas units and Aptra cash machine software to Banco de Credito del Peru, the largest private bank in Peru.

The bank will roll out the new ATMs across operations in both Peru and Bolivia and will use NCR's Aptra multi-vendor software to upgrade existing machines.

Banco de Credito del Peru will also create and manage marketing and advertising campaigns across its ATM network using NCR's Aptra Promote software, which will enable the bank to control the self-service display and printed output of every machine in its network. The bank will also use self-service management software from NCR subsidiary Gasper.

Carlos Munoz, COO, Banco de Credito del Peru, says: "We attach great importance to the self-service channel as a means of driving customer service. We chose NCR because they provided the hardware, software and tools to give us the functionality and levels of availability our customers expect."
