Dealing room communications vendor IPC Information Systems is reporting contract wins in EMEA with London-based Martin Brokers and Bahrain's Ahli United Bank.

Martin Brokers will use IPC technology to support its new trading floor operations in Lausanne. Under the contract, IPC will deliver and manage trading turrets, dedicated voice services, LAN to LAN connectivity, Internet Access, structured cabling and PSTN as well as provide professional consulting services.

Ahli United Bank has contracted with IPC for a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) trading system which will be rolled out across its new dealing room. The IQMX voice dealing technology implemented at the bank will be supported by IPC under a five-year managed services contract.

The vendor has also expanded its operations in the region by opening a new EMEA headquarters in London which includes a network operations centre (NOC) as well as a customer demonstration centre.

The firm has also opened a new Global Solutions Operations Centre (GSOC) in Frankfurt, offering local service to Central European customers. The centre provides help desk, systems support and network services support.

IPC says it has a presence on more than 600 trading floors across the EMEA region.
