Prebon Yamane has commenced operations on a new Tokyo trading floor with a fully managed voice network from IPC.
Prebon has implemented IPC's Alliance MX communications platform in conjunction with IPC's global Network Services for full button-to-button digital connectivity. The system has replaced an existing BT trading system and multiple carrier services.
In addition, Prebon has deployed IPC's SCSA integrated voice recording as well as a Nortel PBX for corporate communications.
Darren Coombes, global head of operations and support, Prebon Technology Group, says: "We selected IPC because it is the only voice trading solution provider who can offer direct sales and service for both trading systems and trading voice network connectivity in Japan."
