Manso has twenty years of experience in global trade communications and settlements. He served as director of strategic sales and account management at Omgeo. Prior to joining Omgeo he was at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). Manso's experience in domestic and global custody commenced in 1983 at US Trust.

In his new role, Manso will be based at the vendor's New York office and will report to FMC's president and CEO Stamos Katotakis.

Katotakis says sales, implementations, support, product management and other functional groups within the FMCNet business unit will be re-aligned under Manso.

Launched in 1990, FMCNet has more than 240 clients worldwide. FMCNet2, a next generation, real time and Web-based trade communications network capable of competing with Omgeo's central trade matching utility, was unveiled in February of this year. At that time, more than 60 clients moved to FMC’s upgraded standing settlement instructions database (SSID). FMC plans to migrate all existing FMCNet clients to the new network.
