Canadian investment technology vendor Financial Models Company (FMC) is launching a business process outsourcing (BPO) division, to be headed by David Burnham, vice president, outsourcing.
FMC already provides ASP and BPO services for clients in selected areas, such as statement generation and performance measurement. The vendor says its new division will cater to the growing number of investment management firms seeking total outsourcing solutions.
Burnham has spent the last 15 years in the investment management business, most recently leading FMC's separately managed accounts initiative.
Prior to joining FMC he was vice president for operations and technology at a large investment management firm.
