Sweden-based trading technology firm Orc Software has appointed Jonas Lindström as chief executive officer CEO.
Lindström, was most recently CEO for SunGard subsidiary, Front Capital Systems.
He was chosen by Orc Software's board of dirctors to replace Nils Nilsson, who will remain in his current role until Lindström officially takes over. No reason was given for Nilsson's departure.
Lindström's appointment caps a period of top-level managerial reshuffles at the vendor, marked last month by the appointment of Orc veteran Joakim Johansson as new EVP and chief technical officer, and the promotion of Aleksey Dukhnyakov, formerly head of the firm's Russian operations, to take on core technology development.
