Non-bank foreign exchange operator Travelex has licensed SmartStream Technologies' Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM) software to manage all cash reconciliations and exceptions.
The TLM Reconciliations & Investigations application was selected following Travelex's acquisition of the My Travel's foreign exchange bureaus.
SmartStream says the system delivers real time, enterprise wide MIS and provides a full audit trail of all transactions from a single screen. The software will also replace manual exceptions management processes.
Travelex has completed the rolled out of the SmartStream technology at the My Travel business. The implemenation will now be extended to include all cash reconciliations globally.
Gareth Richards, director of IT development, Travelex, says: "We needed a dedicated solution, as we were performing reconciliations using a number of in house systems. It made sense to look for a standardised solution for the group."
