The bank is adding Travelex's online ordering system, My Travel Wallet, to its Web banking site, allowing customers to order foreign currency and travellers cheques. Any currency ordered will be delivered to the customer's billing address.

In addition, bank staff will use Travelex's ordering application, Currency OnLine, to order foreign currency and bank drafts.

Commenting on the deal, Tom Tucker, senior vice president, head of sales for Travelex business partners division, says: "Key to winning the business was Travelex's capability to provide a full-service financial proposition, both at the branch level and direct to the customer."

Travelex, a non-bank foreign exchange operator, offers over 100 currencies through the Currency OnLine and My Travel Wallet applications.
