Royalblue adds international equity data to fidessa Workstation

Coverage of the US markets as well as Level 2 content will also be available over the system shortly.

As part of the implementation of the new data, royalblue has developed ticker-plant technology to handle high-volume, real-time feeds from exchanges and other sources.

The data will be supplied by direct exchange feeds, as well as through a recently extended deal with Comstock. Royalblue says this deal also provides for coverage of value-added corporate actions, descriptive data and pricing fundamentals.

Simon Barnby, business development manager at royalblue, comments: "We have been asked by many of our existing UK Workstation customers for access to equity data from additional markets. This new data will let us extend our presence significantly in our current client-base and also target many new customers as well."

The ability to trade these new markets through the Workstation will follow further integration with royalblue's fidessaExpress network later this year, says Barnby. Currently fidessaExpress connects to over 100 buy-side firms, 14 Exchanges and 18 brokers as well as the royalblue fidessa user-base.
