Finland's Sampo Bank is to install software from TietoEnator to automate processing of Euro Banking Association (EBA) Step2 payments.
TietoEnator's EBA Step2 system includes bulking/de-bulking and mapping services, creation of service messages, monitoring, administration, audit trail and automated reconciliation and accounting.
Payment transactions and files will be exchanged with EBA via SwiftNet's FileAct service.
The agreement with Sampo Bank follows the implementation of TietoEnator's EBA Step2 platform at Swedbank and Dexia BIL in Luxembourg.
