Romania's Banca Transilvania is installing technology from London-based City Networks to automate reconciliations of nostro accounts and ATM and card transactions.
The bank is installing the vendor's CityNet Reconciliation for Cash and ATM modules across its national operations.
City Networks says the automation of manual and spreadsheet-aided reconciliation processes will enable bank staff to focus on exceptions processing.
Nicolae Ploata, vice president, Banca Transilvania, says: "The decision to implement the CityNet Reconciliation for Cash and ATM modules as an integral part of our reconciliation process is attributed to product reliability and performance."
