The system is already live at the bank's London branch and is being used for FX, inter-bank and customer dealing confirmation matching.

Koichi Tanaka, senior manager, global corporate banking IT planning office, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, says: "The integrated solution from City Networks has provided significant benefits in our real-time transaction process."

Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi has also contracted with City Networks' Japan office for the development and supply of an interface between the module and its centralised Overseas System (OVS).
