UK-based payments systems vendor Card Tech Limited (CTL) has licensed its Web-based fraud detection and management software, Fraudguard, to Finland's national card payment network, Luottokunta.
Luottokunta will interface Fraudguard with its front and back office systems, which are provided by Oasis and LogicaCMG
In addition, FraudGuard will incorporate scores generated by Xtract Fraud Detector, combining both rule-based and neural network technology.
Petri Carpén, deputy managing director, Luottokunta, says: "CTL's Fraudguard solution was the obvious choice to replace our internally developed system, mainly because its rules are flexible and easy to define and it has good workflow and interfacing."
Luottokunta services over two million cards and 50,000 merchant locations.
