Austria's Erste Bank is rolling out ALG Software's Metify Activity Based Management (ABM) software across its subsidiaries in Central and Eastern Europe.
The Team edition of the performance management software will be implemented centrally at each subsidiary's controlling department, and will be used to manage and identifiy the cost and profitability of each business unit.
The product will replace an Access database that was developed inhouse in 1997 and will incorporate data drawn from various banking systems.
Ewald Seidl, financial controller, Erste Bank, says: "We need a system that can form a data bridge with all these different systems and Metify enables us to do that. In addition, the multi-dimensional aspect of Metify enables us to gather more detailed cost information."
