Banco de Credito del Peru has signed a new five year contract for ACI Worldwide's electronic payments processing platform Base24.
Banco de Credito has been using the Base24 system since 1993.
The new contract includes additional credit card issuer modules for Visa, MasterCard and private label payment systems.
Lyle Knox, vice president and managing director of ACI's Latin America operation, says: "The Base24-pos module will provide Banco de Credito a fast, powerful authorisation system that can improve margins by reducing losses and operational costs."
