Hi Ketharaman, thank you for your interest in my blog. I understand your point which is specific to one aspect of Open Banking. You make a number of interesting points that are accurite for US banks. The benefits for Open Finance have yet to be displayed. I do believe that it is early yet for monitoring the results and I will be keeping an eye on this now that you have correctly brought attention to this aspect.

Dear Mr. Haskins, You correctly point out the value of many other assests and that will be the topic of my planned follow up piece. I agree with you that theft is a problem and issue for Crypto holdings. You would be surprised as I was to find that many people holding the other assest types you mentioned do not insure when they most certainly can.

Hernan has brought up all of the key points as to why SCF has been slow to grow in Latam and more importantly he points out the changes that will enable big growth and great opportunities for the Banks, buyers and suppliers. Nice to see a focus on the fastest grow region by percentage in TRADE!

Hi Patricia, well put information on the meaning and importance of lifecycle structure and I agree with your three stages; On-boarding, On-going and Migration. I believe that it is critical for banks to manage the corporate lifecycle more so than their retail/consumer client whose decisions can be almost whimsical in nature. I would add to your On-boarding stage the establishment of credit as a step and for On-going the need for banks/vendors to keep advancing through innovative additions to their base offerings. It may be worth considering a fourth stage for just that purpose, call it; Up-coming...

Thanks Patricia, and please do not get me wrong as there are people who make the transistion. The point is when it is tried as an easy fix it mostly fails. Its important for Software companies to remember that there business is about producing products with the widest market reach.
